This document provides information about the Application screen, which allows customizing various application operating parameters, including connections, credentials, reports, general settings, and security.

Access Path

  1. In Segura®, in the upper left corner, click on the Grid Menu, represented by nine squares, and select Settings.
  2. In the side menu, select System Parameters > Global.
  3. In the System Parameters report, select Application.

Application

In this report, it's possible to configure various aspects of Segura®.

Application Connection Parameters

Item Type Required Description
Network Connector Dropdown menu No Allows selecting the Network Connector for the application.

Credentials and Devices Parameters

Item Type Required Description
Force password change on batch import? Radio button Yes Defines if the system will automatically schedule a password change for the credential after import.
Use additional information as unique key? Radio button Yes Defines the use of additional information as a unique key.
Use credential type as unique key? Radio button Yes Defines the use of credential type as a unique key.
Force justification for credential non-rotation?* Radio button Yes Defines whether credentials that don’t have rotation require justification.
Additional field name (1) Text field No Allows adding a custom field to the device.
Additional field name (2) Text field No Allows adding a second custom field to the device.

Reports Configuration

Item Type Required Description
Records per page Quantity selector Yes Sets the default number of records per page.
Records per page (max.) Quantity selector Yes Sets the maximum limit of records per page.
Hide filters by default? Radio button Yes Defines if filters will be initially hidden.
Add hour and minute to date range filter? Radio button Yes Includes hour and minute fields in date filters.

General Application Settings

Default language Dropdown menu Yes Sets the application's default language.
Enable login banner? Radio button No Enables/disables the banner on the login screen.
Redirect when changing module? Radio button No Defines redirection behavior.
Login banner Text field No Allows entering login banner text.
Remote backup credential Dropdown menu No Sets the credential for remote backup.
Oracle Wallet automation credential Dropdown menu No Sets the credential for Oracle Wallet automation.

Trusted IPs Configuration

Field Type Required Description
Application IPs Text field No Defines a trusted IP address for the application.
Add Button No Adds a new IP field to the trusted IPs list.

Master Key Ceremony

Item Type Required Description
MFA required for master key ceremony? Radio button No Defines the need for MFA authentication for the master key ceremony. Warning: When unchecking the MFA option for the master key ceremony, a security alert will be displayed informing about the action's risks to vault security.
