LDAP/AD Batch import template file

To perform a batch import operation, you must download and fill out the batch import template file available in Segura® Platform.

Path to access

  1. On Segura® Platform, in the navigation bar, hover over the Products Menu and select Settings.
  2. In the side menu, select Provisioning > Active directory > Batch import > Import, then click the Template File button.

Template file

In the template file, each row corresponds to a new group to be imported. The information to be entered in the file is the same information entered when creating a group via the web interface of Segura® Platform.

Item Description
AD group name* Name of the Active Directory group. Example: Segura.
User Group* Access group defining user’s role. Example: Full Access.
Note: if level approval is enabled for the access group, the level granted will always be 1.
Server* The server address. Example: 172.17.241.252.
Note: this server must be registered in Active directory > Servers.
Enabled* Defines whether the group will be active or inactive. Can be Yes or No.
Synchronization* Defines whether synchronization with Segura® Platform will be enabled. On or Off.
DN* The distinguished name in AD that serves as the base for querying and synchronization in Segura® Platform. Example: CN=Users,DC=sandbox,DC=local.
AD username attribute* Sets which attribute will be used as the AD username. Valid values: Name, Display Name, Username.
AD name attribute Field for specifying the AD name attribute. Example: sAMAccountName.
Department Field for department. Example: Segura.
Note: if the department does not exist at import time, the group will be imported without the department.
AD query* Query parameters for fetching AD information. Example: (&(objectClass=user)(sAMAccountName=*)(memberOf=CN=Segura,DC=mt4,DC=com,DC=br)).
Role AD roles. Example: System User.
Domum Synchronization Field to enable synchronization with Domum. Options: On or Off.
Domum User Type Field to specify Domum user type. Options: Full Users or Limited Users.
Domum Vendor Field for Domum vendor or internal group.
