How to retrieve the certificate passwords

This provides information on how to retrieve the certificate password. If you've added a revocation password during the registration moment, you can retrieve it using this tutorial as well.

Requirements

• A user in an access policy with the following download settings:
  • User can view the passwords certificate
  • Part of the password to be viewed
    • Select the the desired option.

Retrieve the passwords

To retrieve the passwords, see the following steps:

1. On Segura®, in the navigation bar, hover over the Products menu and select Certificate Manager.
2. In the side menu, select Certificates > SSL/TLS.
3. In the desired certificate, click Actions > Certificate information.
4. In the bottom of the Details of certificate information screen, click Password keystore and Revocation password. Both buttons will prompt a confirmation message.
5. Choose how you want to recover the password.
   1. Select View password, Copy password, or Spell password.

You'll see the entire password or only a part, according to the access policy configuration.
