CT Logs discovery is a monitoring feature within Certificate Manager that involves searching through Certificate Transparency (CT) logs to find information about all SSL/TLS certificates associated with specific domains or organizations in the CT Logs database.
How does the discovery work?
The discovery process begins when a user searches CT log databases using domain names, organization names, or other certificate attributes. The search returns all certificates that match the criteria, including active certificates. This information includes details such as the exact domain names covered by each certificate, the issuing certificate authority, the country where the certificate was issued, the certificate status, the signature algorithm, and validity periods.
