Prev Next

This document provides information about the Recovery key ceremony screen in the Tenant settings menu, which allows MySafe 2.0 users to perform their recovery key ceremony and to view the guardians of the recovery key.

Path to access

  1. Access Cloud Security.
  2. In the user menu, click Admin console.
  3. In the left menu, click Recovery key ceremony.

First access

When you first access the Recovery Key Ceremony screen, you’ll see the following fields:

Item Type Description
Define the guardians of your organization’s key Dropdown menu Select the guardians of your organization’s recovery key. This menu will only show users added in this organization and with the Cloud Security - Tenant Administrator role.
Guardians needed to restore Dropdown menu Select the amount of guardians needed to restore your recovery key. The amount will vary according to the amount of guardians you selected in the Define the guardians of your organization’s key field. You need at least 2 guardians, and we advise having more guardians than parts needed to restore; this ensures the ability to recover data in scenarios where one of the members is absent.
