# Variables

This document provides information about the **Variables** dashboard screen, which displays metrics and information related to system variables, including counts, distributions, and variations by different dimensions.

## Access Path

1. On Segura®, in the navigation bar, hover over the **Product Menu** and select **Dashboard**.
2. In the side menu, select **DevOps Secret Manager > Variables**.

## Actions menu

| Item | Type | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| **Date field** | Date picker | Select the time period to filter the results. |

## Cards

| Item | Description |
| --- | --- |
| **Variables** | Displays the number of variables registered in DSM. |
| **Sensitive variables** | Displays the number of variables identified as sensitive in DSM. |
| **Applications** | Displays the number of applications registered in DSM. |
| **Systems** | Displays the number of systems registered in DSM. |
| **Environments** | Displays the number of environments registered in DSM. |
| **Deploys** | Displays the number of variable deploys that have been done using DSM. |

## Charts

| Item | Description |
| --- | --- |
| **Deploys by day** | Chart displaying the total number of deploys per day. |
| **Deploys by application** | Chart displaying the number of deploys per application. |
| **Deploys by system** | Chart displaying the number of deploys per system. |
| **Deploys by environment** | Chart displaying the number of deploys per environment. |
| **Deploys by hour** | Chart displaying the number of deploys per hour. |
| **Variables by day** | Chart displaying the number of variables used per day. |
| **Variables by application** | Chart displaying the number of variables used per application. |
| **Variables by sensitive** | Chart displaying the number of variables used according to their sensitivity. |
| **Variables by system** | Chart displaying the number of variables used per system. |
| **Variables by environment** | Chart displaying the number of variables used per environment. |
