This document provides information about the Certificate information screen, which displays detailed metadata and validation attributes related to a Certificate found by URL.

Path to access

  1. On Segura®, in the navigation bar, hover over the Products menu and select Discovery.
  2. In the side menu, select Certificates > Certificates found by URL.
  3. In the selected record, click the Actions button, and select Certificate information.

Certificates found by URL tab

This tab provides information about the certificate’s metadata and usage validation.

Item Description
This certificate has been verified for these uses: Displays the valid usage purposes for the certificate.
Common Name (CN) Displays the certificate's Common name.
Organization (O) Displays the organization to which the certificate belongs.
Organization Unit (OU) Displays the department or division responsible for the certificate.
Serial number Displays the unique serial number assigned to the certificate.
Version Displays the version used.
Localization (L) Displays the city or locality associated with the certificate.
State (ST) Displays the state or province associated with the certificate.
Country (C) Displays the country code of the certificate’s origin.
Common Name (CN) Displays the certificate's Common name.
Organization (O) Displays the organization to which the certificate belongs.
Organization Unit (OU) Displays the department or division responsible for the certificate.
Localization (L) Displays the city or locality associated with the certificate.
State (ST) Displays the state or province associated with the certificate.
Country (C) Displays the country code of the certificate’s origin.
Start Displays the certificate’s start date of validity.
End Displays the certificate’s expiration date.
SHA-256 Displays the SHA-256 fingerprint of the certificate.
SHA-1 Displays the SHA-1 fingerprint of the certificate.

Key length Displays the length of the encryption key.
Encryption type Displays the type of encryption applied to the certificate.
DNS name Displays the DNS names listed in the certificate.
CA issuers Displays information about the issuing Certificate Authority.
OCSP Displays the Online Certificate Status Protocol responder URL, if available.
Certificate entity key ID Displays the unique identifier of the certificate's public key.
Certificate Basic Restrictions Displays the basic constraints and usage limitations.
Certificate Authority Key Identifier Displays the identifier of the issuer's public key.
Certificate directives Displays additional policy information or constraints.
CRL Distribution points Displays the URL(s) where the Certificate Revocation List is available.
