This document provides information about the Discovery screen, which displays all records of the devices configured in the system, allowing users to manage executions, edit parameters, view status, and access detailed logs.

Path to access

  1. On Segura, in the navigation bar, hover over the Products menu, and select Discovery.
  2. In the side menu, select Management > Discovery.

Actions menu

Item Type Description
Add Button Directs to Choose the type of your discovery screen. On this screen, you can select one of the following Discovery types: Domain, Device, Containers, Amazon ACM, and URL Certificates.
Actions Dropdown menu Displays the options Print report, Export CSV, and Schedule report.

Search Fields

Item Type Description
ID Text field Filters the requests by their unique numeric identifier.
Name Text field Filters the requests by their name.
Domain/Search range Text field Filters the requests by the configured domain or IP range.
Site Dropdown menu Filters the requests by their associated site. Clear the field to enable the All option.
Status Dropdown menu Filters the requests by their current status. The options are: Enable and Disable. Clear the field to enable the All option.

Report fields

  • ID.
  • Name.
  • Domain/Search range.
  • Last search: displays the date and time of the last discovery execution.
  • Message: displays the return message of the last execution.
  • Type: displays the type of discovery.
  • Execution days: displays the days of the week when the discovery is scheduled to run.
  • Execution periods: displays the periods during which the discovery is executed.
  • Interval: displays the interval (in minutes) between discovery attempts.
  • Site.
  • Actions:
    • View discovery status: opens the Device discovery executions screen.
    • View log: opens the Device discovery logs screen.
    • Synchronize data: performs the synchronization of the request data.
    • Edit: opens the Device discovery screen for necessary changes to be made. Only the Discovery type previously selected during the Add process can be edited.
    • Clear cache: deletes any cached information related to the selected request.

By default, the report displays 30 records per screen. To go to the next screen, click the forward buttons at the end of the report.
