How to perform an Microsoft Azure discovery

This document provides information on how to perform an Microsoft Azure discovery to find Azure artifacts and certificates.

The discovery feature currently scans enterprise applications that utilize SAML, specifically identifying the certificate configured within the SAML settings for each application.

Requisites

An Azure account registered on Segura® Platform. More information in How to integrate with Azure.

Add an Azure discovery

To add an Azure discovery, see the following steps:

  1. On Segura® Platform, in the navigation bar, hover over the Products menu and select Discovery.
  2. In the side menu, select Management > Discovery.
  3. In the top right corner, click Add, and select Microsoft Azure.
  4. In the Cloud Azure account tab, click + Add to enter the Azure accounts registered in Certificate Manager.
  5. In the Settings tab, enter a name and enable the discovery.
  6. Optional: In the Import enterprise applications field, select to only import your Azure accounts’ enterprise applications into Certificate Manager.
  7. Optional: In the Import enterprise applications certificates field, select to import your Azure accounts’ certificates into Certificate Manager.
  8. Click Continue until you get to the Review tab.
  9. In the Review tab, verify all the information previously entered in the past tabs, and click Save.

The newly added account will appear in the Discovery report.
