Portal activity is recorded in two places. Sessions go to the Domum session log, and portal events go to a separate high-volume trail that feeds your SIEM.
Requirements
- The Domum.Portal.View permission, which opens the Vendor Access Portal settings. Both built-in portal roles carry it: Portal Operator and Portal Configuration. Domum Administrator includes it too. To assign a role, see How to manage user roles.
- For the portal event trail, access to the SIEM or log platform your organization forwards to.
Steps
- On Segura®, in the navigation bar, hover over the Products menu and select Domum Remote Access.
- In the side menu, select Management > Portal settings.
- Select the Audit tab.
- Check the details of the events registered.
Where portal activity is recorded
| Trail | What it holds | Where it goes |
|---|---|---|
| Access events | Sessions opened by third parties, alongside every other Domum session, marked with their origin | The existing Domum access log |
| Portal events | Sign-ins, registrations, approvals, access requests, resource publishing, policy changes, and blocked attempts | A dedicated index, forwarded to your SIEM through syslog |
Info
Portal events are not stored in the platform database. If you need to retain or search them beyond what the interface offers, query them where your organization forwards them.
