Article Summary

If you already have a certificate and want senhasegura to manage it, you can import it into the system.

To manually import:

1. Navigate to Certificate Manager➔Certificates➔Certificates.

2. In the upper-right corner, click the (⁝) View Actions icon and select Import Certificate.

3. Select the Certificate file on your machine. It is the only required field.

4. If your certificate contains a separate key file, select the Key file corresponding to the certificate key.

5. If you want your certificate to have a password for the key, add it in the Key password field. This password makes it possible to open the content of the key file and extract the desired information.

Important

If your certificate contains a Key file and you want to add a Key password, do so during import. It is not possible to add this information later.

It is not possible to add a key password without a key. The password won`t save without a key.

6. The Revocation password field allows you to add a password for a CA revocation. senhasegura automatically sends this password to the CA and prevents the revocation from happening outside the product.

7. To insert the certificate information you are importing into a certificate already listed in senhasegura, enter the code of the desired certificate in the Use as information for an existing certificate. Please wait a few moments for senhasegura to present the certificate, and you select it.

Info
The code is the number you find in the first column of the table with all the certificates listed.

8. Save.

Update the report and find the imported certificate ready to be managed by senhasegura.
