Article Summary

When a certificate expires or is about to expire, the user must make a renewal request with the same data as the previous one.

To renew a certificate through senhasegura:

1. Access the menu Certificate Manager➔Certificates➔Certificates.

2. Find the certificate you want to renew (you can use the filter to find it faster).

3. In the Action column, click the (⁝) icon and select Renew certificate.

4. Choose between the two available options and save:

  • Generate the request and sign: you are sent to the signature request form by choosing this option and saving. Follow the instructions in the Sign certificates article to fill it out.
  • Just generate the request: when choosing this option and saving, see that the status of your certificate changes to Renewal requested. Follow the instructions in the article Requisitions to edit. When you renew and sign the certificate, it changes the status to Valid.
Caution
If the user requesting renewal is in an access group that requires approval, the request will only be available after release by one of the approving users.
