A certificate should be revoked whenever there is a legitimate reason to believe it is no longer valid or safe to use. Among the reasons can be the compromise of the certificate or changes in the status of the certified entity, the private key, or the certification policy.
To revoke a certificate:
1. Access the menu Certificate Manager➔Certificates➔Certificates.
2. Find the certificate you want to revoke (you can use the filter to find it faster).
3. In the Action column, click the (⁝) icon and select Revoke certificate.
4. Choose Yes to answer the confirmation message. It is only possible to revoke a certificate when it has gone through the entire flow within senhasegura (request, approval, and signature). The button is only visible to the user after approval. If you imported a certificate, this option does not appear.
