Credentials associated with services

senhasegura performs a discovery through a credential scan, looking for those that are being used by some type of Windows service. If you have already performed a search and want to check which credentials are associated with any service found, access the menu: Discovery ➔ Discovery ➔ Services a report with the found credentials will be displayed.

However, if you have not yet configured the search to find these credentials, follow the instructions:

  1. Create a new search via the menu: Discovery ➔ Settings ➔ Discovery or change an already created one

    Caution
For the search for credentials used by service to be configured, it is necessary to use the search by Domain .

  2. Go to the Search tab and select the option Identify Windows accounts associated with a service

  3. If you have not yet configured a Windows plugin, go to the Plugins tab and add a port and a Windows plugin to be used in this search.

  4. Finally click on Save

After the scan is complete, it will be possible to verify the credentials found in the services report ( Discovery ➔ Discovery ➔ Services ).

Caution
Remember that they are credentials associated with a Windows service , if your scan focuses on different system devices the search will not have any results.
