The EPM macOS performs periodic synchronizations with the Admin Web Interface to update the policies applied to devices.
Functionality
This parameter allows adjusting the update interval of policies on macOS devices, without depending on manual updates or service restarts.
Synchronization interval
- The minimum allowed time is 5 minutes.
- The maximum allowed time is 30 minutes.
- Increments must be in 1 minute steps.
- The default value is 30 minutes.
Automatic synchronization will restart whenever the user performs a manual synchronization, and the next cycle will be counted from that moment.
Permissions
The configuration of this parameter is restricted to users with EPM macOS administrator profile.
What is synchronized
- Access policies configured in the Admin Web Interface (Sudo rules, Auth Rights, Access Lists, Graylist).
- Execution logs of the actions controlled by the Agent to the Admin Web Interface.
