This document provides information on how to obtain specific information about applications in EPM macOS.
This information can be used during the process of creating access policies, authorization rights, and sudo rules.
You have two ways to obtain these informations:
Option 1: Through the EPM macOS client
To obtain information about the applications directly from the client, see the following steps:
- In the EPM macOS client, go to the Applications tab.
- In the Applications tab, click the information icon.
- In the application window, copy the information manually or through the Copy button, or download it in
.csvformat.
Option 2: Through the Finder
To obtain information about the applications using the macOS Finder, see the following steps:
- Using the Finder, locate the application you want to obtain information about and select it.
- Once selected, right click on the application and select Quick Actions > Consult Additional Data.
- In the application window, copy the information manually or through the Copy button, or download it in
.csvformat.
