Configure both to record the sessions of the applications you choose. ## Requirements - Access to the EPM with permission to change parameters and access policies. - The applications you want to record, so you can add them to an access policy. ## Steps ### Step 1: Enable the global recording parameter The global parameter makes session recording available. It does not record anything by itself. 1. On Segura® Platform, in the navigation bar, hover over the **Products menu** and select **EPM**. 2. In the side menu, select **Management > Settings > Parameters**. 3. In the **General Settings** section, set **Enable recording session?** to **Yes**. 4. Click **Save**. ### Step 2: Enable recording in an access policy 1. In the navigation bar, hover over the **Products menu** and select **EPM > Policies > Windows > Access policies**. 2. Open the access policy that contains the applications you want to record, or create a new one. More information in [How to configure application access policies for EPM Windows](/v4-2/docs/epm-windows-application-access-lists). 3. In the **Applications** tab, set **Record session for these applications** to **Enabled**. 4. Click **Save**. Info An application that is not part of any access policy is not recorded. If an application is in more than one access policy and any of them has recording disabled, EPM Windows does not record it. ## Verify your results 1. Run one of the applications on a workstation with the EPM Windows agent. 2. About 15 minutes after the execution ends, go to **EPM > Reports > Recorded Executions**. 3. Find the execution and click **Play** to watch the recording. If the execution does not appear, see [EPM Windows sessions are not recorded](/v4-2/docs/check-if-epm-sessions-are-being-recorded). ## Related topics - [Session recording in EPM Windows](/v4-2/docs/epm-windows-types-of-recording). - [Recorded Executions report screen](/v4-2/docs/epm-windows-recorded-executions).
