How to enable MFA to elevate applications

Learn how to enable the MFA parameter to elevate applications in the Segura platform and use this functionality on EPM Windows.

Requirements

  • The user must have configured an OTP authentication token.

How to enable MFA at login

  1. On Segura, in the navigation bar, hover over the Products menu and select EPM.
  2. In the side menu, select Management > Settings > Parameters > EPM.
  3. Find the section Authentication.
  4. Check the option Enable multifactor authentication at login?* as Yes.
  5. Click on Save.

How to enable MFA to elevate applications

  1. On Segura, in the navigation bar, hover over the Products menu and select EPM.
  2. In the side menu, select Management > Settings > Parameters > EPM.
  3. Find the section Authentication.
  4. Check the option Enable multifactor authentication to elevate applications?* as Yes.
  5. Click on Save.
