This document describes the role of a third-party delegated administrator within the Segura platform. This role allows a user to exclusively manage the third-party company they belong to, using the Domum module to remotely access authorized devices and manage users within the scope of their own company.:::
1. Create the user in the platform
- Access the menu Settings > User Management > Users.
- On the Users report screen, click the Add button.
- Fill in the user details as usual.
- Choose the permissions you want for this user.
- Complete the user creation. For more information, refer to How to manage users.
2. Associate the user to the vendor
- Access the menu Domum > Third-party> Vendor.
- Select the vendor corresponding to the third-party company of the user.
- Add the created user as a Full User of the vendor. For more information, refer to How to add a Third-party user.
3. Create access for the user
- Configure the appropriate access for the user to operate within the vendor's scope.
Result
After completing these steps, the user will have full autonomy to:
- Add and manage access for the users associated with the vendor.
- Operate Domum to remotely access authorized devices.
- Invite collaborators from their own company and assign permissions as needed.
All of this while respecting the granted permissions and the principle of least privilege.
Info
This role ensures autonomy for management within the limits of the third-party company itself, restricting access to its own tenant and preventing interference with other organizations or internal users of the Segura platform.
