How to approve bulk actions requests

Requirements

  • To be an approving user, a user must have the following privileges: System Administrator, PAM Administrator, and PAM operator.
Caution

The users must only make changes to the devices they have access to.

How to add a new approving user

  1. In the top left corner, click the Grid Menu, identified by the nine squares, and select Settings.
  2. In the side menu, select System parameters > Approvers.
  3. In the top bar, click on View actions, identified by the three vertical dots, and select + New.
  4. On the Approvers form, fill in the following fields:
    1. Module: select the module that the approver will have access to.
    2. Approvers: click "+," identified by the sum icon, next to the word Approvers.
    3. In the Approvers modal, select the users you want to register as approvers and click Add.
  5. Click Save.

How to approve a Bulk Action request

Info

To approve a request, the user must hold the role of an approving user.

  1. In the top left corner, click the Grid Menu, identified by the nine squares, and select Reports.
  2. In the side menu, select Events > Bulk operations.
  3. In the list, identify the operation you want to analyze.
  4. In the Action column, you have two options:
    1. Request details: identified by the ID card icon. This redirects to the Request details form. In this form, the approving user can Approve or Disapprove the request.
    2. Tasks: identified by the file icon. This takes you to the Bulk operation tasks form. In this form, you can view details of the task. To view the details of each task, in the Bulk operation tasks form, on the Action column, click Tasks, identified by the magnifying glass icon, to open the Batch operation task form with all the details of the task.
