This document provides information about the Types report screen, where you can add and view the types of registered devices.

Path to access

  1. On Segura, in the navigation bar, hover over the Products menu and select Devices.
  2. In the side menu, select Settings > Types.

Actions menu

Item Type Description
New device type Button Directs to the Device type screen.
Actions Dropdown menu Displays the options Print Report, Export CSV and Schedule report.

Search fields

Item Type Description
Name Text field Filter device types by registration name.
Type Dropdown menu Filter results by device types. In Segura, for types of devices, it’s possible to use options that come by default in Segura, such as the Bulk-in option or the Customized option to create custom device templates.
Status Dropdown menu Filters device types by their activation state. The options are Enabled and Disabled. Clear the field to enable the option All.

Report fields

  • ID.
  • Name.
  • Type.
  • Status.
  • Actions: the option in this column is only available when the Type is set to Customized.
    • Edit type: opens the Device type screen.
Info

By default, the report displays 30 records per screen. To go to the next screen, click the forward buttons at the end of the report.


Device type screen

This section provides information about the Device type screen, which allows you to add or change settings for the selected device type.

Item Type Required Description
Name* Text field Yes Device type name.
Enabled Option button No Type activation status. The options are Yes and No.
Icon Upload field No Import file in jpg or png format of maximum 200kb.
