Access reasons

This document provides information about the Reasons report screen, which displays the list of registered reasons for the user to use when requesting to view and/or access a credential.

Path to access

  1. On Segura, in the navigation bar, hover over the Products menu and select PAM Core.
  2. In the side menu, select Access control > Access reasons.

Actions menu

Item Type Description
Add Button Directs to the Reasons for viewing screen.
Actions Dropdown menu Displays the options Print report, Export CSV and Schedule report.

Search Fields

Item Type Description
ID Text field Filters the reasons by their identification code within Segura.
Name Texto field Filter the reasons by their registered name.
Status Toggle button Filter the reasons by their activation state. The options are Enabled and Disabled. Clear the field to enable the option All.

Report fields

  • ID
  • Name
  • Enabled
  • Actions:
    • Edit: open the Reasons for viewing screen, to make the necessary changes.
    • Disable: inactivate a reason record. Confirm the action by clicking Yes in the confirmation box.
Info

By default, the report displays 30 records per screen. To go to the next screen, click the forward buttons at the end of the report.


Reasons for viewing screen

Item Type Required Description
Name* Text field Yes Name that describes the reason for being registered.
Status* Toggle button Yes Activates or deactivates the status of the registered reason.
