This document provides information about a step-by-step guide on how to access a web session on Segura.
Requirements
- Have a web session registered and available.
Access the session
On Segura, you can start proxy sessions from different paths:
- On Segura, in the navigation bar, hover over the Products menu and select PAM Core.
- In the side menu, select Credentials > All credentials.
or
- On Segura, in the navigation bar, hover over the Products menu and select PAM Core.
- In the side menu, select Credentials >Web applications.
Whatever the path, choose from the list the web session you want to access.
- On the Actions column, click on Actions button and select Start session.
- Follow the steps requested in the session being accessed.
Each session will have different steps to be followed, these steps were previously registered in the Web session automations.
Typing input anonymization
To enable anonymization for 30 seconds during a session, follow the steps below based on the type of session initiated.
Web Proxy RDP

With the Web Proxy RDP session open, press the following keys on your keyboard:
Ctrl + Alt + Shift

In the side window that appears, click Activate no input mode.

A message will be displayed indicating that the function has been enabled and will remain active for 30 seconds.
- Click OK.
Web Proxy SSH

With the Web Proxy SSH session started, type:
./ssctl -n

Press Enter.

A message will be displayed indicating that the function has been enabled and will remain active for 30 seconds.
Use the session normally during these 30 seconds, any text you type will be shown as asterisks in the session’s text log.
After the 30-second period, you can repeat the process to enable the function again.
