# Application types

This document provides information on the **Application Types** report screen, which allows you to view, filter and manage the different types of applications registered in Segura®.

## Path to access

1. In Segura®, in the navigation bar, hover over the **Product Menu and** select **DevOps Secret Manager**.
2. From the side menu, select **Application Management > Application Types**.

## Actions menu

| Item | Type | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| **Add** | Button | Directs to the **Add application types** screen. |
| **Actions** | Dropdown menu | Displays the *Print Report, Export CSV, and Schedule Report options.* |

## Search fields

| Item | Type | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| **ID** | Text field | Filters application types by identifier code. |
| **Name** | Text field | Filters application types by name. |
| **Description** | Text field | Filters application types by description. |
| **Status** | Dropdown menu | Filters application types by their state. The default option is **Active**. |

## Report fields

- **ID**.
- **Environment**: name of the environment to which the application type belongs.
- **Description**.
- **Status.**
- **Actions**:
  1. **Edit**: directs to the **Application Type** screen in edit mode.

## Application type

This screen allows you to add a new application type to **DevOps Secret Manager**, or edit a previously registered application.

| Item | Type | Required | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| **Name** | Text field | Yes | Specifies a unique name for the application type. |
| **Status** | Toogle button | Yes | Enables or disables the application type. |
| **Description** | Text field | No | Adds a description to the application type. |
