Reference for DSM Audit Tracking

You can consult the logs of DSM operations in the Audit Tracking. Access it through the Grid Menu > DevOps Secret Manager > Events > Audit Tracking.

Show filtersIdentified by the magnifying glass icon. Displays or hides the search fields on the screen.
UpdateIdentified by the counterclockwise arrow icon. Refreshes the page.
View actionsIdentified by the three vertical dots icon. Displays the possible actions for the page.
Print reportIdentified by the printer icon. It opens a new page for printing the report.
Export CSVIdentified by the sheet of paper icon, downloads the report.
Schedule reportIdentified by the clock icon, it opens the window for scheduling the report.

When you click Show filters, a range of fields is displayed. These are used to refine your search results. They are:

IDOperation code on senhasegura. For example: G6gC8IwB0bkgU1_dUh5x.
OperationOperation type. For example,Application created.
EntityEntity that was changed in the operation. For example,Secret.
Entity IDEntity's code in senhasegura.
Entity nameEntity's name.
OriginOrigin, within the DSM, of the operation. For examp: DSM-Secret.
UserUser that performed the operation.
UsernameUsername of the user who performed the operation.
Execution periodOpens a calendar for choosing the start date of the filter for the period of execution of the operation.
untilOpens a calendar for choosing the end date of the filter by the period of execution of the operation.

In addition to these options, you have two buttons: Filter, which applies the parameters passed into the fields, and Clear, which clears all the parameters.

The report is shown below, in list format, containing the following fields:

  • ID.
  • Operation.
  • Entity.
  • Entity ID.
  • Entity name.
  • Origin.
  • User.
  • Username.
  • IP: IP address of the user who performed the execution.
  • Change: change that was made in the execution.
  • Date/Time: date and time of execution, displayed in the DD/MM/AAAA HH:MM format.

Audit tracking window

In the Action column, by clicking on Details, represented by the magnifying glass icon, you can view the details of that operation.

In the Audit Tracking window, you'll see the following information:

FieldDescription
IDOperation code on senhasegura. For example: G6gC8IwB0bkgU1_dUh5x.
OriginOrigin, within the DSM, of the operation. For example:DSM-Secret.
OperationOperation type. For example:Application created.
IPThe IP address of the user who performed the execution.
Date/TimeDate and time of execution. This will be displayed in the DD/MM/AAAA HH:MM format.
UserThe user who performed the operation. The user's name will be displayed, followed by their username in brackets.
Entity IDEntity's code in senhasegura.
EntityEntity that was changed in the operation. For example:Secret.
Entity nameEntity's name. For example: AWS.

The changes will be shown according to the changes made. You will then have the fields as shown here.

In the first table, you can see what has been modified. For example, Cloud credentials - Auto-renewal followed by cells indicating the FROM:TO of what has been modified.

FieldDescription
FromShows how the field looked before the modification. For example: Disabled.
ToShows how the field looks after modification. For example: Enabled.

For fields modified through an operation, a table will be added following this model, making it easier to see what has been modified and how.
