his document provides the necessary steps to use the Segura® Browser, from downloading the browser to connecting with the Segura® Platform.
Requirements
- Segura® Browser executable.
- The executable is available for download at this link.
- User registered in Segura® Platform.
- Authentication token registered in the Segura® Platform.
Generate an access token
You must have a registered token in Segura® Platform. To do this, follow these steps:
- On Segura® Platform, hover over the Personal Menu and select My Apps.
- In the top bar, click Add to go to the Add app screen.
- Fill in the fields:
- Name*: enter a name for Segura® Browser access.
- Expiration date: specify the date and time for the access token expiration.
- Application type*: select Segura® Browser.
- Click Save.
Now, Segura® Browser is properly registered for access. Copy and paste the code that appears below the QR code. This is your access token.
The code generated at this step is single-use. After leaving the page, you won’t be able to view the code again. If you need the code later, you’ll have to add Segura® Browser to My Apps again to generate a new code.
To use Segura® Browser, you must have a credential previously configured in PAM Core. Access and authentication depend on the permissions and policies defined in the PAM Core solution.
