Before executing the senhasegura update, always run a snapshot on your hypervisor and perform the running and restoring backup
If you are using the senhasegura Arbitrator, remove it from the cluster before updating senhasegura. Learn more in our documentation.
Zabbix users must reconfigure the application after updating senhasegura to version 3.30. Find instructions in the article How to configure Zabbix via Orbit CLI.
Version 3.30
In this release, we focused efforts on three main areas: PAM Core, MySafe, and Certificate Manager. Check out the highlights we brought to each of them.
PAM Core
From now on, we offer an even more robust solution for authentication and security. TOTP token generation on senhasegura enables remote sessions and password exchange across a wide range of credentials with MFA, including platforms like Instagram and AWS, without the need for a third-party authenticator.
MySafe
We added convenience and practicality by providing the MySafe Google Chrome extension. Users can log in securely across the internet, taking advantage of features such as auto-filling credentials, generating strong passwords, and even checking notes directly through the extension. We've also added a new storage category: API Secrets.
Certificate Manager
We've simplified certificate management. Now, it is possible to generate multiple random certificates from the Common Name (CN) in the same request. Subscriptions can also be made through a single request for the entire batch. Additionally, we have improved the notification system, grouping emails with certificate expiration alerts based on expiration date to make monitoring easier.
Domum
To improve usability, it is now possible to grant an internal user the first access during provisioning, making the process more efficient and agile.
SAML Authentication
We have added an extra layer of security to your SAML authentication method. Starting from this version, a configuration requiring registration of Identity Provider certificates has been included. We emphasize that old authentication configurations will still work; however, we strongly recommend updating to this new method.
