This tutorial provides a step-by-step guide on how to add a password to MySafe.
Add a password
On senhasegura, in the upper left corner, click the Grid Menu, represented by the nine squares, and select MySafe.
In the side menu, select Passwords.
In the upper right corner, click View Actions, represented by the three vertical dots icon, and select + Add password.
On the Add password screen, fill in the following information:
a. Name: enter a name for this password.
b. Username: enter the username relative to the password being saved.
c. URL: enter the URL of the page relative to the password being saved.
d. Password: enter the password or click Generate a password so that senhasegura generates a safe password for you. Click the eye icon to view the password being created.InfoThe four horizontal lines below the Password field indicate the password strength. Four green lines indicate maximum strength.
To define the password parameters such as password length, the presence of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols, click the three vertical dots icon next to Generate a password and check the boxes for each parameter you want to include. Click Confirm to save the setting.
e. Secret key (TOTP): enter the secret key provided by the service for multi-factor authentication.
f. Tags: enter keywords to help identify the password saved.
g. Notes: enter observations about the password.
The items with an asterisk are mandatory.
- Click Save.
A pop-up window with the message “Password added” confirms the action. Below the message, click Share this password to be directed to the Share screen; or click Close to close the window.
To view the passwords, go to MySafe > Passwords.
You may also add a password by going to the drop-down menu, in the upper right corner of the MySafe home screen, and clicking + Add password.
