How to share a file

Share a file

  1. At the senhasegura platform, in the upper left corner, click on the Grid Menu ⁝⁝⁝ and select MySafe.
  2. Select Files.
  3. On the list, locate the file you want to share.
  4. In the Action column, next to the magnifying glass, click on the icon represented by the three vertical dots icon of the selected item.
  5. Select Share.
  6. In the sharing window, you can search for the following:
    1. Name
    2. Username
    3. E-mail
    4. User groups
    5. Private groups

    You need to configure MySafe's Private groups for the groups to appear in the sharing search.

  7. Select who to share the file with.
    Important

    If you choose an invalid user, the text box will turn red, indicating the error.

  8. In the same window, check:
    1. Can view: to enable file viewing for the chosen user.
    2. Can edit: to enable file editing for the chosen user.
    Important

    Users that received the Can edit permission can deactivate the file.

  9. Click Share.

The confirmation notice: "Shared" will be displayed. Users can access the file information from this action according to the configured permissions.

Once sharing is completed, the Shared column in the report will indicate Yes. In the viewing file window, accessed through the magnifying glass icon, you’ll see the users with whom the file is shared and their respective permissions.

You can also share a file by accessing the shortcut on the MySafe homepage and clicking on the icon represented by the three vertical dots ⁝ ➔ Share of the selected item.
