How to share a password

This article will guide you through a step-by-step process on how to share your password with the users registered on the platform.

Share a password

1. On the senhasegura platform, on the upper left corner, click the Grid Menu, represented by the nine squares, and select MySafe.

2. On the side menu, select Passwords.

3. On the list, locate the password you want to share.

4. On the Action column, next to the key, click on the icon represented by the three vertical dots to open the drop-down menu.

5. Select Share.

6. In the sharing window, you can search for the user by:
   6.1. Name
   6.2. Username
   6.3. E-mail
   6.4. User groups
   6.5. Private groups

   Info

   To have the groups show up in the sharing search, make sure to properly set up MySafe's Private groups.

7. Select who to share the password with.

   Important

   If you choose an invalid user, the text box will turn red, indicating the error.

8. In the same window, check:
   8.1. Can view: to enable password viewing for the chosen user.
   8.2. Can edit: to enable password editing for the chosen user.

   Important

   Users that received the Can edit permission can deactivate the password.

9. Click Share.

The system will display the confirmation notice "Shared." From this action, users can access password information according to the configured permissions.

Once you complete sharing, the Shared column in the report will show Yes. In the password preview window, you can see who has access to the password and what they can do with it.
