This document provides a step-by-step guide on how to register and edit the reasons to be used when submitting a task execution request in Task Manager.
Path to access
- On senhasegura, in the upper-left corner, click the Grid Menu, represented by the nine squares, and select Task Manager.
- In the side menu, select Settings > Reasons.
Register a reason to run a task
To register a reason that can be used when submitting a task execution request in Task Manager, follow the steps below:
In the upper-right corner of the Reasons screen, click the View actions menu, represented by the three vertical dots icon, and select New.
On the New task reason screen:
- Name*: enter a human-readable name for the reason registered.
- Type*: click the downward arrow to select one of the registered reason types.
- Enabled*: check Yes or No to define whether the reason will be active or inactive.
InfoThe items with an asterisk are mandatory.
Click Save.
Edit a reason to run a task
Requirements
- A reason registered in Task Manager. For more information, access the Register a reason to run a task section of this document.
To edit a reason registered in Task Manager, follow the steps below:
- In the list displayed on the Reasons screen, identify the reason you want to edit or use the filters to search for it.
- In the Action column, click Edit record, represented by the paper and pencil icon.
- On the New task reason screen, make the necessary changes.
- If desired, hover over the eye icon in the bottom-left corner of the screen to view the reason creator's name, creation date, and time, along with information about the last modification, including the date, time, and responsible user.
- Click Save.
A pop-up window with the message “Success. Data saved successfully!” confirms the action.
By default, the Reasons screen displays active reasons. To view inactive reasons, locate the Enabled filter on the Reasons screen and select No. To view both active and inactive reasons, clear the Enabled filter to enable the All option. Then, click Filter.
