How to manage approvals

This document provides a step-by-step guide on how to approve, reject, and view the details of a task execution request in Task Manager.
Path to access
- On senhasegura, in the upper-left corner, click the Grid Menu, represented by the nine squares, and select Task Manager.
- In the side menu, select My approvals.
Requirements
- Being included in an access group as an approver. For more information, access the document on How to manage access groups.
- A pending approval request.
Approve a task execution request
To approve a task execution request in Task Manager, follow the steps below:
In the list displayed on the My approvals screen, identify the request that is pending approval or use the filters to search for it.
In the Action column, click Approve, represented by the check icon.
In the Confirmation pop-up window, you’ll view a question similar to the one below:
“Are you sure you want to approve the request?”Click Yes to confirm.
The pop-up message “Success. Request approved” confirms the action.
It’s also possible to approve a request through the following path Grid Menu > Task Manager > My approvals > A pending request in the list > Action column > Three vertical dots icon > Details (represented by the magnifying glass icon) > Request details screen > Approve button (located in the bottom-right corner of the screen).
By default, the My approvals screen displays requests with Pending status. To view approved requests, locate the Status field on the My Approvals screen and select Approved. Then, click Filter.
Reject a task execution request
To reject a task execution request in Task Manager, follow the steps below:
In the list displayed on the My approvals screen, identify the request that is pending approval or use the filters to search for it.
In the Action column, click the three vertical dots icon and select Reject, represented by the check icon.
In the Confirmation pop-up window, you’ll view a question similar to the one below:
“Are you sure you want to disapprove the request?”Click Yes to confirm.
The pop-up message “Success. Request rejected” confirms the action.
It’s also possible to reject a request through the following path Grid Menu > Task Manager > My approvals > A pending request in the list > Action column >Three vertical dots icon > Details (represented by the magnifying glass icon) > Request details screen > Reject button (located in the bottom-right corner of the screen).
By default, the My approvals screen displays requests with Pending status. To view rejected requests, locate the Status field on the My Approvals screen and select Rejected. Then, click Filter.
View task execution request details
To view the details of a task execution request in Task Manager, follow the steps below:
- In the list displayed on the My approvals screen, identify the request that you want to view or use the filters to search for it.
- In the Action column, click the three vertical dots icon and select Details, represented by the magnifying glass icon.
- On the Request details screen, view the request information such as Requester, ID, type of execution (scheduled or punctual), execution status, Requested in, Expiration, Approvals, Disapprovals, Approver, Level, Response, Date, Justification, Governance ID, Justification, plain text with the name of the task, the devices, and the credential used.
- Click Approve or Reject in the bottom-right corner of the screen or click the X icon in the upper-right corner to close the screen.
