# Create a RemoteApp type automation on EPM Windows

This document provides information on how to create a RemoteApp type automation to use in the EPM Windows agent.

Attention

RemoteApp automations become visible to users exclusively when they are members of the access group associated with the credential required for utilizing the RemoteApp.

## Requirements

- Register the device where the automation will run.

## Step 1: Create the automation

## Step 2: Configure the automation in a credential

To configure the RemoteApp automation in a credential, see [How to configure a session for use with RemoteApp](/v4-2/docs/pam-session-how-to-configure-a-session-for-use-with-remoteapp) but do not start a session, go directly to [Step 3: Run the automation](/v4-2/docs/go-endpoint-manager-how-to-create-a-remoteapp-type-automation-on-go-windows#step-3-run-the-automation) to run the automation via EPM.

## Step 3: Run the automation

1. Access the workstation desktop.
2. Start the **EPM Automation** application.
3. Select the automation you want to run.
4. To execute it, you have two options:
  1. Right-click on it and choose **Execute**.
  2. Double-click it with the left mouse button.
5. Wait for the automation to run.

User interaction is blocked until the automation finishes running.
