This document provides information about the Add request and Edit request screens, which share the same fields.
Path to access
- On Segura®, in the navigation bar, hover over the Products menu and select Certificate Manager.
- In the side menu, select Requests > SSL/TLS.
- In the Actions menu, click Add.
or
- In the selected request, in the Actions column, click Edit.
General tab
This tab provides information about the general data of the certificate request.

| Certificate type* | Dropdown menu | Yes | Select the level of validation for the request. The options are DV SSL, OV SSL, or EV SSL. |
| Domain type* | Radio button | Yes | Select the type of request. The options are: Single domain, Multiple domains, or Wildcard. |
| Search | Text field | No | Enter text to filter and search for specific items or requests. |
| Add / Remove selected | Button | No | Add or remove the selected organization. |
| Organization table | Table | No | Displays the name and the specific division within the organization. The fields are: Organization and Organization unit. |
| Common name* | Text field | Yes | Enter the domain or entity to be protected by the request. |
| Expiration (in days)* | Quantity input | Yes | Defines the request's validity period. |
| Generate random certificates with this CN | Checkbox | No | Select to generate random certificates with this Common name (CN). |
| Certificate quantity | Quantity input | No | Defines the number of certificates to generate. (maximum: 500). |
| SAN* | Text field | Yes | Enter multiple alternative names to include in the request. |
| Tags | Text field | No | Enter identification markers for the request. |
| Encryption algorithm* | Dropdown menu | Yes | Select the algorithm for encryption or signing. The options are: RSA or DSA. |
| Encryption key size* | Dropdown menu | Yes | Select the encryption key size. The options are: 1024-bit, 2048-bit, or 4096-bit. |
| Certificate signature algorithm* | Dropdown menu | Yes | Select the signature algorithm. The options are SHA-256, SHA-384, or SHA-512. |
| Store password | Text field | No | Enter a password to restrict access to the request. It can be up to 72 characters long, including uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and the symbols ! % @ # ^ * _. |
| Revocation password | Text field | No | Enter a password to revoke the request. It follows the same format as the Store password field. |
| Generate | Button | No | Generates a strong and customizable password. |
Additional settings tab
This tab provides information about additional configuration options for the certificate request.

| External IP | Text field | No | Enter the external IP address for the request. |
| IP or hostname | Text field | No | Enter the IP or hostname for the request. |

| Description | Text field | No | Enter a description of the request. |
| Enable signature detailed log | Checkbox | No | Select to generate a detailed log. This field is only available for the Microsoft certificate authority. |
Signature settings section

| Self-signed? | Radio button | No | Select to pre-set a default signature for the request. Only choose Yes if you know and trust the device that will sign the certificate. |
| Choose CA | Dropdown menu | No | Select the certification authority that will sign the certificate. This option is only available if the Self-signed? button is not selected. |
Responsible for request section

Environment tab
This tab provides information about the environments linked to the request.

This tab provides information about the systems linked to the request.
