This document provides information on how to connect a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) project to Cloud Entitlements.
Requirements
- A GCP project.
- Script that automates obtaining the necessary requirements. See Connect a Google Cloud Platform project to learn how to get the script.
Connect a Google Cloud Platform project
To connect your GCP project to Cloud Entitlements, see the following steps:
- Access Cloud Security.
- Access the Cloud Entitlements product.
- In the Cloud Entitlements menu, click Setup > Google Cloud Platform.
- Click + Connect.
- Select Project.
- Select the integration mode.
- Download the script, meet the prerequisites, and run it.
- In the Name * field, enter a name to identify the project.
- Optional: In the Tags field, enter tags for the project. Enter one tag at a time pressing
Enter
. - Upload the service account
.json
key file. - Click Save.
Upon successful connection, your GCP project will appear in the connected projects list.
To make any necessary changes, click Action > Edit. Additionally, you can activate or deactivate the account by toggling the Status button.
