How to connect a Google Cloud Platform project

This document provides information on how to connect a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) project to Cloud Entitlements.

Requirements

• A GCP project.
• Script that automates obtaining the necessary requirements. See Connect a Google Cloud Platform project to learn how to get the script.

Connect a Google Cloud Platform project

To connect your GCP project to Cloud Entitlements, see the following steps:

1. Access Cloud Security.
2. Access the Cloud Entitlements product.
3. In the Cloud Entitlements menu, click Setup > Google Cloud Platform.
4. Click + Connect.
5. Select Project.
6. Select the integration mode.
7. Download the script, meet the prerequisites, and run it.
8. In the Name * field, enter a name to identify the project.
9. Optional: In the Tags field, enter tags for the project. Enter one tag at a time pressing Enter.
10. Upload the service account .json key file.
11. Click Save.

Upon successful connection, your GCP project will appear in the connected projects list.

To make any necessary changes, click Action > Edit. Additionally, you can activate or deactivate the account by toggling the Status button.
