How to create a discovery segregation through IPs

This document provides information on how to create a discovery segregation through IPs in the Segura® Platform.

Create a discovery segregation through IPs

To create a discovery segregation through IPs, see the following steps:

1. On Segura® Platform, in the navigation bar, hover over the Products menu and select Discovery.
2. In the side menu, select Management > IP segregation.
3. In the IP segregation report, click Add.
4. In the Status * field, toggle to enable or disable the segregation.
5. In the Glossary * field, select the glossary you want to apply in the devices segregated.
6. In the Priority * field, select the segregation priority. If a device fits in more than one range of IPs, the segregation with higher priority will be prioritized.
7. In the Initial IP * field, enter the starting IP of the range.
8. In the Final IP * field, enter the final IP of the range.
9. Optional: In the Additional information field, enter any additional information related to the segregation.
10. Click Save.

The newly created segregation will appear in the IP segregation report screen. Now, to use this IP segregation, enable the Enable origin-based segregation (IP range) option during the creation of a discovery.
