This document provides information on how to set up pool of certificates. Certificate pools are sets of digital certificates stored in a centralized location. Creating a pool it's helpful for organizations that manage many certificates.
Configure a certificate pool
To configure a certificate pool, see the following steps:
- On Segura, in the navigation bar, hover over the Products menu and select Certificate Manager.
- In the side menu, select Management > Notifications > Pool of certificates.
- In the top right corner, click Add.
- In the Main tab, enter the main information about the certificate pool:
- In the Identification name * field, enter a name for the certificate pool.
- In the Enabled * field, select to enabled the certificate pool.
- In the Certificates tab, click + Add to select the certificates that will be in the pool.
- Select the desired servers, and click Add.
- Click Continue.
- (Optional): In the Notifications tab, enter the emails of the users who should receive alerts related to the certificate pool.
- In the Certificate expiration alert: Today field, enter the emails of the users who should receive alerts about the certificates that expires today.
- In the Certificate expiration alert: 1 day field, enter the emails of the users who should receive alerts about the certificates that expires in 1 day.
- In the Certificate expiration alert: 7 days field, enter the emails of the users who should receive alerts about the certificates that expires in 7 days.
- In the Certificate expiration warning: 15 days field, enter the emails of the users who should receive alerts about the certificates that expires in 15 days.
- In the Certificate expiration alert: 30 days field, enter the emails of the users who should receive alerts about the certificates that expires in 30 days.
- In the Certificate expiration warning: 60 days field, enter the emails of the users who should receive alerts about the certificates that expires in 60 days.
- In the Certificate expiration warning: 90 days field, enter the emails of the users who should receive alerts about the certificates that expires in 90 days.
- In the Certificate renewal field, enter the emails of the users who should receive alerts about the certificates that got renewed.
- In the Certificate revocation field, enter the emails of the users who should receive alerts about the certificates that got revoked.
- In the Certificate password view field, enter the emails of the users who should receive alerts about the certificates got their password viewed.
- Click Continue.
- In the Review tab, review all information enter previously, and click Save.
The newly created certificate pool will appear on the Pool of certificates report screen.
Edit a certificate pool
To edit a certificate pool, see the following steps:
- On Segura, in the navigation bar, hover over the Products menu and select Certificate Manager.
- In the side menu, select Management > Notifications > Pool of certificates.
- In the desired certificate pool, click Actions > Edit.
- Edit the desired fields.
- In the Review tab, review all information enter previously, and click Save.

In the upper right corner, the eye icon provides information about the date and time of creation and update of the profile.
Deactivate a certificate pool
To deactivate a certificate pool, see the following steps:
- On Segura, in the navigation bar, hover over the Products menu and select Certificate Manager.
- In the side menu, select Management > Notifications > Pool of certificates.
- In the desired certificate pool, click Actions > Edit.
- In the Enabled * field, select No to deactivate the certificate pool
- In the Review tab, review all information enter previously, and click Save to confirm the deactivation.
