How to configure signature reasons

This document provides information on how to configure signature reasons. The reasons justify the actions of signing and publishing digital certificates.

Create a signature reason

To create a signature reason, see the following steps:

  1. On Segura, in the navigation bar, hover over the Products menu and select Certificate Manager.
  2. In the side menu, select Management > Informations > Signature reasons.
  3. In the top right corner, click Add.
  4. In the Name * field, enter a name for the reason.
  5. In the Type * field, select the type of the reason.
  6. In the Status button, toggle it to activate or deactivate the signature reason.
  7. Click Save.

The new signature reason created will appear listed in the Signature reasons report.

Edit a signature reason

To edit a signature reason, see the following steps:

  1. On Segura, in the navigation bar, hover over the Products menu and select Certificate Manager.
  2. In the side menu, select Management > Informations > Signature reasons.
  3. In the desired signature reason, click Actions > Edit.
  4. Edit the desired fields.
  5. Click Save to save the changes.

In the upper right corner, the eye icon provides information about the date and time of creation and update of the profile.

Deactivate a signature reason

To deactivate a signature reason, see the following steps:

  1. On Segura, in the navigation bar, hover over the Products menu and select Certificate Manager.
  2. In the side menu, select Management > Informations > Signature reasons.
  3. In the desired signature reason, click Actions > Edit.
  4. In the Status button, toggle it to off to deactivate the signature reason.
  5. Click Save to confirm the deactivation.
