How to add access keys to AWS identities

This document provides information on how to add access keys to AWS identities. An AWS access key is required to authenticate access to AWS services and comprises two security credentials: an access key ID and a secret access key.

Info

Due to AWS limitations, each AWS identity can have a maximum of two access keys.

Requisites

An AWS account in Read and Write integration mode.

Add an access key

To add an access key to AWS identities, see the following steps:

  1. Access Cloud Security.
  2. Access the Cloud Entitlements product.
  3. In the Cloud Entitlements menu, click Identities.
  4. In the Identities report, select one identity and click the Findings tab.
  5. In the Findings tab, go to the Access keys section and click + Add.

The newly added access key will appear in the Access keys section.
