This document provides information about the Device Glossary screen, which lists glossary entries used to standardize the identification of devices during discovery operations.

Path to access

  1. On Segura, in the navigation bar, hover over the Products menu and select Discovery.
  2. In the side menu, select Management > Glossary.

Actions menu

Item Type Description
Actions Dropdown menu Displays the options New glossary, New domain glossary, Print report, Export CSV, and Schedule report.

Search fields

Item Type Description
ID Text field Filters the glossary records by their ID.
Name Text field Filters the glossary entries by name.
Included in Text field Filters by the domains in which the glossary is included.
Default password type Dropdown menu Filters the records by the default password type set in the glossary. Clear the field to enable the All option.
Privileged password type Dropdown menu Filters the records by privileged password type. Clear the field to enable the All option.
Vendor Text field Filters the entries by the device manufacturer.
Product Text field Filters the entries by the product name.
Automatic change Dropdown menu Filters whether the password change functionality is automatically enabled or not. Options are Yes or No. Clear the field to enable the All option.
Enabled Dropdown menu Filters by the glossary status. Options are Yes or No. Clear the field to enable the All option.

Report fields

  • ID.
  • Order: displays the order number used to prioritize the glossary during processing.
  • Name.
  • Identification standard: displays the string used to identify the device during discovery scans.
  • Default password type.
  • Privileged password type.
  • Vendor.
  • Product.
  • Executor: displays the module or method responsible for executing the task, if applicable.
  • Password change enabled: displays whether the password change functionality is enabled.
  • Included in.
  • Change date: displays the date and time when the glossary record was last updated.
  • Enabled.
  • Actions:
    • Change glossary: opens the Glossary version registration screen.
Info

By default, the report displays 30 records per screen. To go to the next screen, click the forward buttons at the end of the report.
