This document provides step-by-step instructions on how to configure the date range filter and request compliance report exports in DevOps Secret Manager.
Requirements
- Access to DevOps Secret Manager.
- A user with the
DSM.Applications.Listpermission.
Step 1: Access the export menu
- On the Segura® Platform, in the top navigation bar, hover over the Products menu and select DevOps Secret Manager.
- In the side menu, select Audit > Audit Export.
- On the Audit Export screen, click Request export.
Step 2: Configure the date range
Before requesting the file, define the audit scope to view the consolidated list.
- At the top of the page, use the filter to select the desired date range. The system default is 30 days, but you can choose predefined ranges of 7 or 90 days, or define a custom range.
Date filtering considers only the SECRET_LAST_ACCESS column, reflecting the last recorded secret consumption.
Step 3: Request the export
The export is processed asynchronously to preserve system performance.
- After validating the data shown on the screen, click Request export.
- A success message will confirm that the request was submitted.
- The system will create a new item in the request list with the Pending status.
The report will be generated in .csv format. If there is no matching data for the selected period, the file will contain the message “No data available”.
Step 4: Monitor and download the report
- Track the Status column in the request list. The status will progress from Pending to In progress and finally to Completed.
- When the status is Completed, locate the corresponding row in the table.
- In the actions column, click the Download report icon.
Downloading the report requires an authenticated session. Make sure you do not log off while large volumes of data are being processed if you want to download the file immediately after completion.
If the request status changes from Pending to Error, request the export again. If the issue persists, contact the support team for troubleshooting.
