This guide explains how to approve an execution request linked to a workflow with multiple hierarchical approval levels, where each level includes more than one approver.
Requirements
- The policy must be configured with hierarchical approval levels, with each level potentially including multiple approvers.
- The administrator must belong to one of the configured approval levels.
- The EPM macOS agent must be installed on the requester’s device.
Approval flow per level
- In Segura® Platform, in the navigation bar, hover over the Product Menu and select Approval Workflow > EPM > My Approvals.
- Filter the status to Pending to view all requests that require action.
- In the pending requests list, locate the request you wish to approve.
- Click the Actions button on the right side of the request row and select Approve.
- Review the request details.
- Click Approve request to confirm the approval.
The request will remain in the current level until all approvers in that level have approved it.
Advancement between levels
- Once all approvers from the current level approve the request, it will automatically move to the next level.
- This process will repeat until all levels have been approved.
- The privileged execution will only be allowed in the agent after the final level has approved the request.
