How to approve an execution request in EPM macOS

This guide shows how an administrator can approve an execution request made by a user in EPM macOS. The process is performed through the Segura® Platform interface.

Requirements

• The request must have been made by a user with the EPM macOS agent installed.
• The administrator must have access to the Segura® Platform with approval permissions.

Access pending requests

In Segura® Platform, in the navigation bar, hover over the Product Menu and select Approval Workflow > EPM > Access Policies.

View request details

1. Click on the row of the desired request.
2. A side panel will open displaying the following information:
   • Requested application name.
   • Justification provided by the user.
   • Date and time of the request.
   • Execution window (if provided).

Approve the request

1. In Segura® Platform, in the navigation bar, hover over the Product Menu and select Approval Workflow > EPM > Access Policies.
2. Filter the status as Pending to view all requests requiring action.
3. In the list of pending requests, locate the row of the request you want to approve.
4. Click the Actions button on the right of the row and select Approve.
5. Review the request details.
6. Click Approve request to confirm the approval.
