This guide explains how an administrator can reject an execution request linked to a policy with multiple approval levels in EPM macOS.
Requirements
- The request must be associated with a policy that includes multi-level approval.
- The administrator must belong to the current approval level of the request.
- The EPM macOS agent must be installed on the user's device.
Rejecting a request
- In Segura® Platform, in the navigation bar, hover over the Product Menu and select Approval Workflow > EPM > My Approvals.
- Filter the status to Pending to view all requests that require action.
- In the pending requests list, locate the request you want to reject.
- Click the Actions button on the right side of the request row and select Reject.
- Review the request details.
- Click Reject request to confirm the rejection.
The request will be immediately closed and will not move on to subsequent approval levels, even if other approvers are configured.
Effects of the rejection
- The privileged execution will not be authorized in the requester's EPM agent.
- The user will be notified that the request was rejected.
- The request will no longer appear in the approval queue.
