This document provides information on how to request the execution of an application on macOS devices when the configured policy requires approval from multiple administrators, without a hierarchical order.
Requirements
The application must be linked to a policy with multiple approvers.
Request execution with multiple approvers
- Left double click to open the desired application to open it through the OS or EPM macOS screen.
- In the window displayed:
- Fill in the Justification field, explaining the reason for execution.
- (If configured) Fill in the execution window fields with start and end date/time.

The approval is valid for a single execution within the approved window. After the execution, a new approval must be granted.
- Click Submit request.
After submitting the request, wait until EPM macOS verifies the approval status according to the visual cue. When the verification is done, a confirmation message will be displayed.

How multiple approval works
- The request is sent simultaneously to all approvers assigned to that policy.
- Execution will only be allowed after all approvers have accepted the request.
- There is no defined order among approvers: any approver can respond at any time, but approval from all is required to authorize execution.
As long as not all approvers have responded, the application remains blocked. If any approver rejects the request, the execution will be denied.
