Reference for installers

This document provides information about the Installers report screen, which displays information about the available installers in the system for EPM implementation.

Access Path

  1. In Segura, on the navigation bar, hover over Product Menu and select EPM.
  2. In the sidebar menu, select Management > Installation > Installers.

Actions Menu

Item Type Description
Add Button Allows adding a new installer to the system.
Actions Dropdown Displays options related to the management of installers.

Search Fields

Item Type Description
Code Text Field Filters installers by their identification code.
Version Text Field Filters installers by the software version.
Checksum Text Field Filters installers by the checksum value.
Type Text Field Filters installers by the operating system type.
Status Dropdown menu Filters installers by their activation state. The default option is Active.
Approved Dropdown menu Filters installers by their approval status. The default option is All.
Forbidden Dropdown menu Filters installers by their prohibition status. The default option is All.
Default Dropdown menu Filters installers by their standard status. The default option is All.
Inclusion Date picker Filters installers by their inclusion date.
Inclusion User Text Field Filters installers by the user who included them.

Report Fields

  • Code: numeric identifier of the installer.
  • Type: operating system type for which the installer is intended.
  • Version: software version of the installer.
  • Checksum: hash value that ensures the integrity of the installer file.
  • Status: indicates whether the installer is active or inactive.
  • Approved: indicates whether the installer has been approved for use.
  • Forbidden: indicates whether the use of the installer is prohibited.
  • Default: indicates whether the installer is the standard for the system type.
  • Include: date and time when the installer was added to the system.
  • Inclusion User: user who added the installer to the system.
  • Actions:
    1. Download: downloads the installer.
    2. Approve installation: approves the installation of the installer.
    3. Disallow version: prohibits the use of the installer version.
    4. Disable: deactivates the installer.

By default, the report displays 30 records per screen. To go to the next screen, click on the forward button at the end of the report.

Register New Version

This section provides information about the Register New Version screen, which allows adding a new installer version to the EPM module.

Item Type Required Description
Installation File (MSI) Upload Area Yes This is where you can drag and drop or select the installation file in MSI format.

The system will automatically extract information such as version and operating system type and generate the checksum of the file during the upload process.
