This document describes how to use a temporary token to authenticate a session in RDP Proxy.
Requirements
- Have generated a temporary token on the Segura® Platform. If you have not generated the token yet, see the document How to generate a temporary token for proxy access.
- Use a compatible Remote Desktop client.
Start the connection in the Remote Desktop client
- Open the Remote Desktop client.
- Start the connection to the destination configured for the proxy.
- When prompted, enter your username.
- In the password field, enter the temporary token.
- Wait for authentication.
- Confirm that the remote session started successfully.
Info
If the token expires before authentication, generate a new token and repeat the process.
After completing the steps above, the session in RDP Proxy will be authenticated with the temporary token, without using local credentials.
