This document describes how to generate a temporary token for proxy authentication on the Segura® Platform.
Attention
The token is personal and temporary. Do not share it with third parties and use it only during the period defined at the time of generation.
Requirements
- Have access to the Segura® Platform.
- Log in with the identity provider configured in the environment, such as AD, SAML, or OpenID.
Step 1: Access the token screen
- On the Segura® Platform, log in with the identity provider configured in the environment.
- In the upper-right corner, click the user menu and select Token.
Step 2: Generate the token
Info
If you already have a generated token, it will be displayed with the revoke option. You must revoke the existing token before generating a new one.
- On the screen displayed, click Create a new access token.
- Define the token duration.
- Click Save.
- After the token is generated, click Copy.
At the end of this procedure, you will have a personal temporary token ready to use as a password in proxy sessions.
