Password expiration

This document provides information about the Password Expiration report screen that displays the expiration dates of all registered credentials' passwords in Segura. This document is important for comparing the company's password policy to the actual application of the password expiration date.

Path to access

  1. On Segura, in the navigation bar, hover over Products menu and select Reports.
  2. In the side menu, select PCI > Password Expiration.

Actions Menu

Item Type Description
Actions Dropdown menu Displays options for Print report, Export CSV, and Schedule report.

Search Fields

Item Type Description
ID Text field Filters by the identification code within Segura.
Credential Text field Filters by the credential with the expired password.
Device Text field Filters by the device to which the credential is associated.
Change Dropdown menu Filters by the option for automatic password change. The options are Enabled and Disabled. Clear the field to enable the All option.
Policy Dropdown menu Filters by the type of policy under which the credential's password was registered.
Status Dropdown menu Filters by the activation status of the password. The options are Expired and Normal. Clear the field to enable the All option.

Report Fields

  • ID.
  • Credential.
  • Device.
  • Password policy.
  • Change password.
  • Last change attempt: the date the system last tried to change the password based on the defined policy.
  • Last attempt status: shows whether the last change attempt was executed or not.
  • Last change successfully: date of the last time the system automatically changed the password.
  • Next change: date based on the policy when the password should be changed.
  • Expiration: deadline to make the password change.
  • Password age: number of days the password has been in use.
  • Status: shows whether the password has expired or not.

By default, the report displays 30 records per screen. To go to the next screen, click the forward buttons at the end of the report.
