Password view

This document provides information about the Password view report screen, which displays all password viewing and intercepts for user requests. This document is important because it presents the entire access flow that the system supports and the type of access configured by the administrator. Comparing the access flow and system access settings with the company's access policy and security expectations can be useful.

Path to access

  1. On Segura, in the navigation bar, hover over the Products menu and select Reports.
  2. In the side menu, select Events > Password view.

Actions menu

Item Type Description
Actions Dropdown menu Displays the options for Print report, Export CSV, and Schedule report.

Search fields

Item Type Description
Date Date picker Filters by the period in which the passwords were viewed.
Action Dropdown menu Filters by the type of action that occurred. Clear the field to enable the All option.
User Text field Filters by the name of the user who viewed the password.
Credential type Dropdown menu Filters by the type of credential. The options are: Domain User, Local Administrator, Locar User, and SSH Key.
Device Text field Filters by the device registered in Segura to which the credential is linked.
Emergency access Dropdown menu Filters by the indication of whether the viewing was performed through emergency access. The options are Yes and No. Clear the field to enable the All option.
Reason Dropdown menu Filters by the Clear the field to enable the All option.
Justification Text field Filters by the justification given by the user to request the password viewing.
Governance ID Text field Filters by the identification number of the governance code.
Origin Dropdown menu Filters by the origin protocol of the viewing. Clear the field to enable the All option.

By default, the report displays 30 records per screen. To go to the next screen, click the forward buttons at the end of the report.
